Intervention Summary

The HOPS intervention targets organization and planning aspects of homework, while the CHIEF intervention targets focus and efficiency during homework completion. The HOPS intervention includes 16 sessions, with the first 10 sessions focusing on skills instruction and the remaining sessions focusing on problem-solving difficulties, self-monitoring, and maintaining skills. The CHIEF intervention also includes 16 sessions, with each session focusing on setting work completion goals and implementing a behavior management and points system. Both interventions include two 1-hour parent meetings.
